Terms of Use

Effective date: June 20, 2026

Welcome to Dog-Ear Test Prep. Dog-Ear Test Prep is the trade name of Aldy Test Prep, LLC ("Dog-Ear Test Prep," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and the materials and services we offer through it. Please read them carefully.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who we are

Dog-Ear Test Prep provides LSAT tutoring, test-preparation classes, and original educational materials, including practice drills and written resources. The website is intended for adults preparing for the LSAT.

Using the site

You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt to access areas or accounts that are not yours, or use any automated means to access, copy, or collect content from the site without our permission.

Our content and intellectual property

We take our original work seriously, and we respect the rights of others in theirs. Our original content and materials — including the text, graphics, design, the Dog-Ear Test Prep name and logo, the names and substance of our instructional methods (including the Banter Method and the Semantics Toolkit), The Banter Book, and the original practice drills, explanations, commentary, and other resources we create — are the property of Aldy Test Prep, LLC or its licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our materials for your own LSAT preparation only. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, share, sell, sublicense, rent, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, publicly display, scrape, data-mine, or otherwise exploit any of our materials, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission.

In particular, our practice drills and resources are provided for your personal study. They may not be shared, posted, distributed, or used to create competing materials. Access provided through a free or paid membership does not transfer ownership of anything to you, and the license to use those materials ends if your access ends.

All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

LSAT content and third-party rights

The LSAT and official LSAT questions, passages, and related materials are the property of the Law School Admission Council, Inc. (LSAC). Nothing in these Terms claims any ownership of LSAC's content or of any other third party's material. Where our resources reference, adapt, or accompany official LSAT material, that material remains the property of LSAC and is used subject to LSAC's rights. Our ownership claims above extend only to our own original work.

Member accounts

Some resources are available through a membership account, which may be offered free of charge. If you create an account:

You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared, sold, or transferred to anyone else. We may suspend or terminate an account at our discretion, including if we believe it has been used to violate these Terms or to misuse, copy, or redistribute our materials.

No guarantee of results

Our materials and services are educational. We do not guarantee any particular score, score increase, admissions outcome, or other result. Your results depend on many factors, including your own effort and circumstances.

Purchases

Purchases of tutoring, packages, or classes are subject to the separate terms presented to you at the time of purchase, including our cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policies. Those terms apply in addition to these Terms.

Third-party links and services

Our website may link to or rely on third-party websites and services that we do not control, including our scheduling, payment, and video providers. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Disclaimers

The website and all materials are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dog-Ear Test Prep and Aldy Test Prep, LLC, and their owner, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the website or our materials.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dog-Ear Test Prep and Aldy Test Prep, LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the website or materials or your violation of these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Your continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
